Lemon Alfajor

These lemon alfajores are a unique take on the classic Argentinian cookie. They are a delicious addition to any gathering or a simple treat after a long day.

To make this version, we add a thin layer of lemon icing over our buttery shortbread cookies and fill them with rich dulce de leche. They are simultaneously sweet, tart, and filled with melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

Ingredients: Dulce de Leche, Vanilla Coating, Cornstarch, All Purpose Flour, Unsalted Butter, Granulated Sugar, Egg Yolk, Baking Powder, Lemon Juice, Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Lemon Zest, Salt.
